Game 3 with Mr. Baseball’s call instead of the national TV commentators
WTMJ RADIO presents “The Hometown Call at Turner Hall” viewing party on Monday, October 15, 2018. The free event will feature a massive movie-screen broadcast at Turner Hall Ballroom of Game 3 of the National League Championship Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers synced to Hall of Famer Bob Uecker’s play-by-play broadcast on WTMJ RADIO and the Associated Bank Brewers Radio Network.
WTMJ’s Gene Mueller, John Mercure and Steve Scaffidi will emcee the viewing party.
“The Hall of Fame voice of the Brewers on WTMJ is the soundtrack to this magical postseason,” said Tom Langmyer, vice president and general manager of WTMJ and WKTI and vice president, news/talk/sports for The E.W. Scripps Company. “There’s nothing better than Bob Uecker calling October baseball.”
“We had so much fun with the first watch party, we knew we had to do it again,” said WTMJ Director of Programming and News Eric Brooks. “We can’t wait to have more fun with the fans.”
Tavern at Turner Hall will offer a full menu in addition to tailgate food like brats and hot dogs. The revitalization of the iconic restaurant venue at Turner Hall is a collaboration with the Caravan Hospitality Group.
WTMJ RADIO is the flagship station of the Milwaukee Brewers.
