The free concert, slated for June 6th at 8 p.m., will serve as “the perfect kickoff to summer” where guests will not only be treated to a performance by the Violent Femmes, they will also receive a FREE ticket to Summerfest.

Anyone planning to attend must have a ticket. We encourage you to get them early, as this is a first come, first served event! A limited number will be available at the following locations until they run out:

• The Girl in the Moon shop at the Miller Brewery (open at 10am)

• Riverside Theater Box Office (open at noon)

• Pabst Theater Box Office (opens at noon)

• Summerfest Box Office (opens at 10am)

Please also note admission to the venue is also on a first come, first served basis.

Of course there will be an amazing beer lineup as well as some other surprises in addition to that free ticket to Summerfest!  Admission is on a first come, first served basis and a ticket is required for entry. Get there early and line up for some special surprises courtesy of Milwaukee’s own Miller Brewing!

YOU’VE GOT TO BE 21+ TO ATTEND!

About the Violent Femmes:

Violent Femmes are undeniably one of the most inventive and original bands of this or any other era, constantly pushing forward with their singular blend of folk and punk, sarcasm and spirituality. The Milwaukee-based band’s remarkable three-decade-plus career has produced a series of truly iconic singles – among them such classics as “American Music,” “Gone Daddy Gone,” “Nightmares,” “Add It Up” and of course, “Blister In The Sun.”  Their latest album HOTEL LAST RESORT is proof that the band remains as warm, wise and weird as ever before, continuing to mine the vast range of ideas, melodic complexity and organic sonic craftsmanship that has characterized the band’s body of work since their landmark self-titled 1983 debut.
