Ex Fabula ALL STARS will be the seventh and final event of Ex Fabula’s inaugural season and will feature stories told by Audi ence Favorite storytellers from past monthly events. For only $10\, audienc e members will get to hear over an hour of new\, ten-minute stories told by some of Milwaukee’s most talented raconteurs. The exact lineup of the ALL STARS and the event theme will be announced in April\, but don’t wait to ge t your tickets as this event is expected to fill up quickly. \n \nEx Fabula was formed in Milwaukee in fall 2009 with the purpose of connecting storyt ellers with audiences on a regular basis. All stories told at Ex Fabula eve nts are true\, personal\, related to the monthly theme\, and told without n otes. Ex Fabula events feature several storytelling formats. “The Solo”\, t he most commonly used format\, features a single storyteller. The other two formats involve pairs of storytellers\; in “The Rashomon”\, two storytelle rs share their versions of the same story\, while “The Terkel” is an interv iew format. At the end of the night\, audience members vote to select an Au dience Favorite storyteller. \n \nEver since the first event at Art Bar whe re storytellers shared tales related to the theme of “Beginnings”\, Ex Fabu la has played to packed houses. The December event at Sugar Maple featured stories of “Second Thoughts”\; the January event at the Hi Hat Garage brou ght tales of being “Busted!”. The February Bay View Brew Haus event brough t almost 200 people together for stories of “Now or Never” and culminated w ith a marriage proposal that surprised and delighted the entire audience. \n \nThe founders of Ex Fabula are Adam Weise\, Amy Schleicher\, Leah Delan ey\, Matt Sabljak and Megan McGee.
