The rich and expansive music of these four master-composers evokes appreciation, wonder, and thanks.The program will feature William Walton’s “Prelude and Fugue (The Spitfire),” Jennifer Higdon’s “Teton Range” from “All Things Majestic,” Aaron Copland’s “Suite” from “The Tenderland,” and Antonin Dvorak’s “Symphony No. 8 in G major, op. 88.”

Experience majestic music conveying powerful ideas and the inspiring spirit and faith of the composers.This program will feature Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Egmont Overture in F minor, op. 84” Paul Hindemith’s “Noblissima Visione,” and Felix Mendelssohn’s “Symphony No. 5, op. 107 (The Reformation).”

 | Passion, Beauty, and Light
Three of the finest French masters give us a musical feast inspired by passion, love, and studies in light and shade. Hartford Union High School Women’s Chorus directed by Ernie Brusubardis II will guest perform. The program will include Gabriel Faure’s “Pavane, op. 50,” Claude Debussy’s “Nocturnes,” and Georges Bizet’s “L’Arlesienne Suites 1 and 2” arr. Ernest Guiraud.

May 13, 2018 | Legends and Masters
A captivating concert of celestial music brings folktales to life. The program will feature Carl Maria von Weber’s “Overture to Der Freischutz,” Johannes Brahms’s “Intermezzo in A Major, op. 119, no. 2” (Black Swan), Engelbert Humperdinck’s “Prelude to Hansel and Gretel,” and Jean Sibelius’s “Symphony no. 7, op. 105, in C Major.”

    To efficiently create a positive and safe experience for all patrons, only small purses (13"W x 4"D x 9"H and smaller) are allowed into the theater and all are subject to search.

    All other bags including backpacks and oversized purses are strictly prohibited and bag storage is NOT available at The Pabst, The Riverside, Turner Hall Ballroom or The Back Room @ Colectivo.

    THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED AND ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO ANY OF THE VENUES.

    Weapons, laser pens, signs, banners, oversized bags, backpacks, outside food and beverages including water, cans, bottles, alcohol, illegal substances, iPads/tablets, selfie sticks, laptops, professional audio recording devices (unless approved by artist), and any professional photography equipment. The use of vape pens inside the venues are prohibited as well.

    PLAN AHEAD: LEAVE YOURSELF EXTRA TIME

    Plan to arrive 30 minutes before you want to be in your seat to allow time to go through our security check. Please leave large bags at home or in your car.
