Bugs Bunny on Broadway

Since its creation in 1990, Warner Bros. Studios’ “Bugs Bunny on Broadway” has become one of the world’s most popular – and enduring – symphony orchestra concert productions in musical history, having played repeated sold-out performances not only on Broadway, but in a dozen performances at The Hollywood Bowl, and countless other major venues worldwide.

The symphony orchestra world’s Looney-est concert celebrates two decades of sold-out houses and standing ovations!

Created and conducted by Emmy Award winner George Daugherty, and produced by Daugherty, Emmy Award winning David Ka Lik Wong, and their award-winning IFX Productions in association and partnership with Warner Bros., “Bugs Bunny On Broadway” first shot to fame with its sold-out, extended Broadway run in 1990 at The Gershwin Theatre.

Since that Broadway debut, the concert has delighted audiences around the world with its celebration of the world’s favorite Looney Tunes on-screen, while their extraordinary Wagner/Rossini/Strauss-inspired Carl Stalling scores are played live by full symphony orchestra.

Via Warner Bros. Studios’ animated jewels like What’s Opera, Doc? The Rabbit of Seville, Baton Bunny, Long-Haired Hare and Corny Concerto (among others), over one-and-a-half-million concert goers across the globe have cheered this extraordinary big-screen and symphony orchestra concert. In addition to its two decades of rave reviews and standing ovations, “Bugs Bunny On Broadway” has proven to be an innovative and extraordinary “new audience builder” for symphony orchestras of all sizes and demographics, with a proven track record of repeat business and loyal, returning audiences.

“Bugs Bunny On Broadway” has sold-out the world’s greatest concert venues and opera houses, including The Hollywood Bowl, The Sydney Opera House, Severance Hall, The Kremlin Palace, Chicago’s Orchestra Hall, Wolf Trap, and London’s Royal Festival Hall, performing with scores of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras, including The Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, National Symphony, New Japan Philharmonic, and over 100 other symphony orchestras.
